Auditions for URTC’s FALL 2009

Auditions will be held this Fall for the Penn State School of Theatre productions of The Brothers Size and School House Rock Live (to be performed at the State Theatre.) Auditions for both productions will be held September 2nd will call-backs being held the 3rd and 4th. The Brothers Size will take place in the Pavilion Theatre. The shows are open to all auditioners and nothing is precast.
SIGN UPS FOR THE AUDITIONS will take place one week prior to auditions and all auditioners must sign up in advance for an audition slot. At that time you will fill out and audition form. You must have filled out the form and signed up for a slot before you can audition. Sign ups take place in 103 Arts and the office will be open from 4:30-6:30 daily for you to sign up.

draws on elements, icons, and stories from the Yoruba history and culture. The setting is San Pere, Louisiana, near bayou country.
The time is distant present.
The Cast of Characters
Ogun (OH GOON) Henri Size, late 20’s a man of color, Auto Mechanic,
Oshoosi (O Chew See) Size, early 20’s a man of color, ex-con, out on parole,
younger brother to Ogun.
Elegba, (eh Leg Bah) also ex con, prison mate and Best friend of Oshooosi. Late
20’s as well, of Creole Heritage
Setting:
San Pere, Louisiana near the Bayou.

is a stage adaptation of the enormously popular children's cartoon show. It includes such popular pieces as Just a Bill and Conjunction Junction. Please prepare a musical theatre song, uptempo, humorous, and that shows lots of your personality.
The Cast of Characters
Tom - A young teacher who has just received his degree.
(The other characters are figments of Tom's imagination. Each represents a different part of TOM to help him on his first day of teaching)
George - The romantic side, caring and in control
Dori - The goofy side - silly and playful
Shulie - The sweet side - genuine and ingenuous
Joe - The cool side - lad back and fun loving
